ACAS Guidance: Marriage and Civil Partnership Discrimination

ACAS has published a guide for employers, senior managers, line managers, HR personnel, employees, employee/trade union representatives and job applicants on how marriage and civil partnership discrimination can occur in the workplace, how it can be dealt with and how to reduce the chance of future discrimination. It is entitled: ‘Marriage and civil partnership discrimination: key points for the workplace’.

It covers types of discrimination that may apply, explains victimisation, goes through the points in employment when such treatment may occur, and provides tips on how to deal with it for both employers and employees.
